Mikayla Goodwin, JD
Partner
Mikayla has over two years of experience in unemployment law working for The Unemployment Law Project (ULP). Mikayla first began working for ULP during law school as an extern, then as a Rule 9 Licensed Legal Intern. After law school and becoming licensed by the Washington State Bar Association, Mikayla worked for ULP as a Staff Attorney. In their role as Staff Attorney, Mikayla was able to advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the administrative hearings process during meetings with judicial representatives.
Prior to their work as an attorney, Mikayla worked in the retail, service, title, and escrow industries and earned a Bachelor’s Degree In Political Science from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA. During Law School at Gonzaga University School of Law, Mikayla also worked in a solo private practice law firm, doing work on Personal Injury and Immigration Cases as a Rule 9 Licensed Legal Intern.
